Symbols Filter

The symbols filter helps you control messages with excessive use of symbols or special characters in your chat. This helps prevent spam messages that use repeated symbols or emojis to draw attention.

Settings

Enabled

Toggle to enable or disable the symbols filter.

Notify Chat

When enabled, the bot will send a message to chat when a message is caught by the filter.

Minimum Length

The minimum length a message must be for the filter to check it. This helps prevent false positives on short messages that naturally contain symbols (like "😃" or "❤️").

Threshold (%)

The percentage of symbols in a message that will trigger the filter. For example, if set to 40%, a message where more than 40% of the characters are symbols will be caught by the filter.

Action

Choose what happens when a message is caught by the filter:

• Delete: The message will be deleted
• Timeout: The user will be timed out
• Ban: The user will be banned

Excluded Groups

Select which user groups are exempt from the filter:

• Moderators: Your channel moderators
• Subscribers: Users subscribed to your channel
• Creators: Other creators on the platform
• Chatters: Regular chatters in your channel
